Get To Know Coach Elizabeth!

I know what it's like to struggle with weight and body image. Growing up, there was a constant emphasis on taking up less space, but no guidance on healthy eating or self-acceptance. I carried the weight of shame and bullying for years.
My pregnancy in 2007 was a turning point. At 242 pounds, my doctor's warning about weight gain was a stark reality. I managed to gain only 6 pounds, but the postpartum period was a whirlwind of stress and depression. My attempt at the Atkins diet led to emergency gallbladder removal in 2008 – a painful lesson.
A hike at Whiskeytown Lake was my moment of truth. I was defeated and unhealthy, and I knew I had to change. I joined a gym and lost 100 pounds in nine months. But the number on the scale didn't bring lasting happiness. I was still obsessed with food and my weight.
Over the last 14 years, I've learned that true strength is about more than physical fitness. It's about mental resilience, self-love, and celebrating what my body can do, stretch marks and all.
This journey led me to become a strength and conditioning coach, nutrition coach, and weight loss specialist. I'm passionate about helping others find their own path to a healthier, more empowered life. You're not alone in this.
